FIRE DOORS

Routine Inspections of Fire Doors

Australian Standard 1851-2012

If you have Fire Doors in your building, it is of the utmost importance to have them regularly inspected and tested.  This will identify the respective vertical and horizontal barriers and their respective fire-resistance level, and to ensure all openings or service penetrations and control joints in these barriers do not compromise the performance of the fire and smoke compartmentation.

All passive Fire and Smoke Systems shall be inspected and tested on a regular basis.
